Olive Wood
The precious olive wood, with a drying time of at least 8 months, is prefabricated by hand.
The harvest only takes place when the tree no longer produces olives and after a new tree has been planted. Some of the trees are several hundred years old at this time. Olive wood is also characterised by its high degree of hardness, which is approx. 60 % (!) (Brinell hardness) above the hardness of European oak. It is therefore also ideally suited for highly stressed products such as cutting boards. Due to all these advantages olive wood products are ideal as commodities and ornaments and a very durable natural product popular with connoisseurs.
The product pictures of our olive wood products are exemplary. This means that each product is characterized by the grain and individual growth of the wood and is therefore unique.
